Location and Hours

Our office is located in the one-story building north of the Layton City Court and Police Department (445 N Wasatch Drive Layton, UT 84041). Our hours are Monday-Friday 9 AM – 2 PM.  Contact us.

Directions to our office and venue:

Coming from the North or South: Take the Layton Parkway exit off of I-15.  Turn East on the Parkway toward the mountains. Turn North onto Fort Lane and drive straight to Wasatch Drive. Turn West onto Wasatch Drive.  There is a driveway on the right side of the road when you see a sign marked “Layton Municipal Complex”. Pull into that driveway and into the parking lot. Our office is located on the East side of the lot, our venue is located on the South side of the lot.

The Kenley Amphitheater, where we hold our Summer Nights with the Stars series, the Free Sunday Night Concert Series, and the Free Friday Family Film Series, is located at 403 N. Wasatch Drive Layton, UT 84041.  It is situated in the park west of Layton High School.

Layton High School Auditorium, where we hold our DAC the Halls performances, is located at 440 Wasatch Dr, Layton, UT 84041.

Alpine Church, where we hold our Chamber Music Series, is located at 254 W 2675 N, Layton, UT 84041.

Snow Horse Gallery is located inside the Davis Conference Center at 800 Heritage Park Blvd, Layton, UT 84041.

Layton Commons Park, where we hold our Active Pages: Explorers in Literature, is located at 437 N Wasatch Dr, Layton, UT 84041.


Tickets to the Summer Nights with the Stars at The Kenley Amphitheater are only sold through the Davis Arts Council website.  Tickets purchased through unauthorized third-party websites are usually substantially more expensive than the tickets sold through the DAC. The DAC is not responsible for tickets purchased through any unauthorized third party.

We cannot prevent unauthorized third-parties from purchasing tickets to our events and selling them for a profit.  Please do not purchase tickets through a third-party.  If you have questions about the validity of a third-party ticket, please call our office at 801-546-8575.


All Summer Nights With the Stars shows are rain or shine. We ask that you be prepared for inclement weather should it occur. We do allow umbrellas into our venue. Temperature variances are also common. Our venue has large trees that offer a bit of shade from the sun but the temperature can drop significantly once the sun goes down.

Concessions and Outside Food

Our vendor offers a variety of concessions including fresh hamburgers, hot dogs, Philly cheese steaks, nachos, water, soda, popcorn, candy, and chips.  Credit cards are accepted.

You are welcome to bring in your own your food, small coolers are allowed.

Smoking and Alcohol

In compliance with the Layton City ordinance, smoking, vaping, and alcohol are not permitted in or around The Kenley Amphitheater or Layton Commons Park.


All parking options are free!  The closest places are the Layton City Building/Surf ‘n Swim parking lot, along the road on Wasatch Drive, or at Layton High School.

Gate and Concert Times

For the Summer Nights with the Stars concert series: gates open at approximately 7 PM and the shows start at 8 PM. This can sometimes vary depending on the show so check your individual ticket to be sure.

For the Free Sunday Night Concert Series and the Free Friday Family Film Series: gates open at approximately 6:15 PM and the shows will start at 7 PM.

Chairs and Blankets Policy

If you have general admission seating, you may bring either a chair or blanket into the venue. The Davis Arts Council recommends a fold-up camping chair with a low back. NO LOUNGE CHAIRS, PLEASE. You may also rent a chair inside the venue for $1 (while supplies last).

Blankets are also permitted, however be mindful the grass could be damp, especially if it has been raining.


Please no flash photography. The emcee will make an announcement at the beginning of each show about what can and cannot be photographed or recorded.  It varies depending on the artist.


Only service animals are allowed in The Kenley Amphitheater.  Please leave pets at home.

The Kenley Amphitheater Seating Options

What is the difference between your three seating options?

  • Orchestra Seating consists of three rows of removable seating set up right in front of the stage in the orchestra pit. Chairs are provided, all orchestra seats are assigned seating.
  • Reserved Seating consists of nine rows of permanent seats, all individually assigned.
  • General Admission is a first-come-first-serve grass area.  You can bring a blanket, your own chair, or rent a chair for $1.00 (while supplies last).  We do not have a height restriction on chairs but ask that you bring something reasonable so people behind you can still have a nice view.  Most patrons bring a camping style or fold-able lawn chair. There is a limit on how many people fit on the grass, we do not oversell it.
