Executive Director

The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the day-to-day operation and long-term well-being of DAC. As DAC’s chief executive, the ED reports directly to the Board of Trustees. The ED manages a staff of 4 full-time employees, 2 part-time employees, 6–10 seasonal and contract employees, and more than 100 volunteers.

Volunteer Board Member – Ongoing

Board members are the fiduciaries who help guide Davis Arts Council (DAC) toward a sustainable future. The responsibilities and expectations of DAC board members include the following:

      • Serve as ambassadors for DAC within the community
      • Ensure DAC’s long-term financial well being
      • Approve annual DAC operating budget
      • Attend multiple DAC events throughout the year
      • Serve on a DAC committee

Please note: The DAC board does not participate in day-to-day operations and decision-making, including the planning and scheduling of events and artists.
