Connie

Connie May is proud to be a Layton native.  After teaching high school and junior high school for 30 years, she is now retired and just doing what she wants to do.  Since retiring she has volunteered her time at the Fielding Garr Ranch on Antelope Island, the Layton High library and theatre department, in church callings, and with the Davis Arts Council (DAC).  She also works part-time for WSU as a student teacher supervisor.  She loves being busy and being outdoors.

Connie’s love and support of concerts at the Kenley began when the amphitheater began; she has been a continual season ticket holder since that inaugural season.  Her volunteer work with DAC began a dozen or so years ago when she started ushering for concerts and she has enjoyed every minute of it.

Together with her husband of 40+ years, Dale, they have raised four children- all of whom have spread their wings and ventured far from home.  They are also the proud grandparents of eleven awesome grandchildren.

Connie is proud to be a part of the DAC family and a Layton City citizen.
