Introducing Marian Pham’s early collection of landscape oil paintings from 2016-2020, composed both in the dramatic terrains of Utah and Wyoming and refined in her studio. This series not only highlights Marian’s deft use of the palette knife but also her ability to capture the essence of each location with vibrant, textured strokes. Painted on-site, these artworks embody an intimate connection with nature, dynamically portraying the interplay of light and shadow. The palette knife technique enhances the textural depth, allowing Marian to depict nature’s rugged beauty through bold, expressive strokes. From tranquil rivers to towering mountains, each piece beckons viewers into a world where nature’s serene and untamed aspects coalesce. Through these paintings, Marian celebrates the natural world’s splendor, showcasing the unique energy and mastery of plein-air painting.
