Chrome Street offers creative twists on crowd favorites by combining classical elegance with contemporary rhythm. Genre-bending at its finest!
About Chrome Street:
Chrome Street is a Modern/Classical Acoustic Hybrid that plays classically inspired arrangements of modern and popular music: a chamber quartet like you’ve never seen playing music as you’ve never heard. Chrome Street is genre-bending at its finest.
Chrome Street is known for playing its unique versions of popular cover tunes from all types of musical genres. Their unique instrument combination of oboe, violin, guitar, and cello makes for a beautiful and awesome listening experience. Forget the stuffy, square versions of other classical musicians playing pop songs, and get ready for instrumental covers that rock.
Chrome Street started in 2013 when they were brought together for the performance of a single song at a Salt Lake Pops Orchestra concert. The performance went so well that the players decided to keep playing together and expand the number of songs the group could play.
