Ophir Creek is a Northern Utah group that redefines the folk, bluegrass, and southern gospel tradition, and to keep it burning with an exciting new sound. The six members have performed variously at 2002 Olympic venues, 2012 Olympic opening celebrations in Park City; county fairs, folk and bluegrass festivals, Utah city celebrations, and numerous community and church functions through Northern Utah and the West; 60’s coffee houses in Pennsylvania and Maryland, night clubs in Hong Kong, Jamaica, and Florida; and bluegrass gigs in Tennessee and Idaho. Collectively they have over 250 years of performance experience Ophir Creek performs a range of family friendly songs from soft ballads that tug at the heart to rollicking banjo supported slices of Americana.
