Sing the National Anthem at the Kenley
The Davis Arts Council is seeking community members to perform the national anthem at our Summer Nights with the Stars concert series at the Kenley Amphitheater in Layton, Utah!
We require an acapella, traditional anthem with little adornments or ornamentation; it should take approximately 90 seconds. Past performers have included solo singers, solo instrumentalists, or small vocal groups.
Solo adult performers will be provided admission to the assigned concert for themselves and one guest. Solo youth performers will be provided admission to the assigned concert for themselves and two guests. Groups will be provided admission for each performer and no guests. Dates will be assigned based on availability, so please provide as many available dates as possible. Applications with only one available date will not be considered.

All participants invited to perform the national anthem will be notified via email.

What do you look for?
We look for a clear, traditional anthem without any added melodies or notes. (If you are selected to sing and have extra elements in your rendition, you may be asked to change it).
How will I know if I am selected?
You will be notified via email. If you do not receive communication from Davis Arts Council, you were not selected this time.
When will I be notified?
All offer emails will be sent by the end of April.
Can I choose my date?
Dates will be assigned based on the availability you provide in the form below and included in your offer email.
Is there an age limit?
No, everyone is welcome to audition.
Do you compensate for singing or travel?
No. Solo adult performers will be provided admission to the assigned concert for themselves and one guest.
Solo youth performers will be provided admission to the assigned concert for themselves and two guests.
Groups will be provided admission for each performer and no guests. (Note: Singers who hold a purchased ticket for the event they are scheduled to perform will not receive additional tickets.)
