The ever popular Code Blue will return as the season finale for the 2013 Free Sunday Night Concert Series season. They have been performing together for nearly 30 years. Their unique style of tight harmony lines, supported by superb acoustic guitars, brings a balance to music not heard since the 60s and 70s. Their cover repertoire includes songs that span three decades: classic rock artists like Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles, The Bee Gees, Bread, John Denver, and even a little Johnny Cash.
The band leads off with John Diehl and Mark Milligan, who are joined by Doug Pierce on guitar and Gary Bullock on bass. John is owner of a staffing company and Mark is an doctor here in Davis County, but music is their passion and they love to share it wherever they can. They have played at countless weddings, restaurants, charity and church events, clubs, and for two Utah governors. This is their third appearance on the Free Sunday Night Concert Series and they have performed twice as part of Summer Nights with the Stars, including last season’s hit concert, “Leavin’ On A Jet Plane & Feelin’ Groovy: A Tribute to Peter, Paul & Mary and Simon & Garfunkel” and this season’s opening bash with Midlife Crisis.
