Jim Johnston, Director
The Davis Master Chorale began in 1997 as a choir to sing at the annual Kaysville\Fruit Heights patriotic devotional. They enjoyed singing together so much that they decided to stick together and sing for other occasions. Under the direction of Steve Hendricks they began performing several concerts a year throughout the state. Under the musical direction of Jim Johnson for the past seven years, the choir draws members from all over Davis County. This non-auditioned choir has sung all over the state in venues such as Utah State University, Temple Square, Libby Gardner Hall and even the Ed Kenley Amphitheater. The choir has performed benefit concerts for the womens shelter in Kaysville, the MLS Society and the Davis County Childrens’ Center. They perform music of all types and genres. The choir rehearses each Tuesday evening, September through June at 7:30 currently in the Davis High choir room in Kaysville.
