The Ripe Tomatoes Band features four of Utah’s most creative musicians who have cooked up a unique recipe for music that can be best summed up as a touch of folk, a pinch of humor and parody, a twist of sass and heaps of musical fun for the entire family. The band consists of Marcia Knorr (aka Cherry Tomato), Eileen Dempsey (aka Hybrid Tomato), Tracie Thurgood (aka Salsa Tomato) and Gar Ashby (aka Stewed Tomato). Ripe Tomatoes promises to put some spice in your night and provide some great musical fun.
Marcia Knorr of Layton performs at a wide variety of venues and programs including the Utah Arts Festival, Utah Arts Council Performing Arts Tour, concerts at Red Butte Garden, Ogden First Night Celebration, Alaska State Fair, Salt Lake Brown Bag Concert, Gallivan Center noon concerts and private parties.
