Salt City String Quartet is a highly sought after performance quartet, entertaining audiences with new original arrangements of familiar tunes. All four musicians have a rich background of performing in many ensembles and as soloists and have come together for the past couple of years, a truly dynamic combination. Jill Plumb, cellist, is also the group’s gifted arranger, as well as Julie Aamodt, on viola and violinists Emily Rice and Emily Aamodt. Salt City Strings has most recently been found performing across the Wasatch front for a summer rooftop concert series, TedX events, and local business conventions.

Salt City Strings concerts are exciting, center stage type entertainment. The show is fast paced and includes modern arrangements of familiar music across genres, from pop tunes to film scores and a little classical. We share our stories and seek to connect with the audience through music that we love to play, bringing something for everyone to be entertained and uplifted.
