Join us for an evening of eerie, mysterious, and hair-raising tales at Whispers in the Dark: Layton’s Scary Storytelling Festival!
Presented by the Davis Arts Council and Layton City in partnership with the Weber State Storytelling Festival and the Utah Storytelling Guild, this FREE festival features spine-tingling stories for all ages, plus seasonal vendors, food trucks, and more.
Featuring Guatemala born, Chicago based internationally acclaimed storyteller Nestor Gomez, alongside featured regional storytellers Mo Reynolds and Sam Payne.
Also including performances by local storytellers and graduates of the Scary Storytelling Workshop Series.

Layton City and the Davis Arts Council are seeking new and aspiring storytellers to join a FREE Workshop Series led by experienced Tellers from the Utah Storytelling Guild.
