Somebody Loves Me is a musical review that explores the many sides of love—Broadway style! This delightful musical journey was written especially for the Davis Arts Council’s Free Sunday Night Concert Series, for lovers young and old as well as those who are still waiting for love. It explores the many facets of love– everything from love at first sight, unrequited love, love/hate relationships, love of self, to the inevitable classic love song.
The show will feature songs from a wide variety of musicals, old and new, including: She Loves Me, Camelot, The King and I, The Sound of Music, Annie Get Your Gun, West Side Story, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Newsies, Hairspray, and more.
Singers include three talented married couples: Blaine and Lindsay Hickman, Jason and Melinda Taylor, Nick and Jamie Balaich, along with seasoned theater performers Dave Marsden and Jana Plowman.
