Layton City’s patriotic gift to the community will feature community choirs and outstanding vocalists and instrumentalists from the Layton area. This year’s event will spotlight World War II veterans and feature music from the war years as well as patriotic favorites. Included on the program will be The First National Bank volunteer choir and The Men of Song male chorus. Other participants include The Cutler Family Fiddlers, piper Russ Galt performing “Amazing Grace,” cellist Elaine Witte, a trumpet trio version of “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” and the music of the Big Band era performed by a brass quintet. Also performing are 4tissimo male quartet, singing “Who are the Brave,” and vocal soloist Renetta West.
