We the People Multicultural Arts Festival was inspired by a simple truth: the diversity that enriches our community is not something found somewhere else – it is found right here in Davis County.

The festival celebrates the cultures, traditions, stories, and contributions of the diverse communities of Davis County. Through music, theatre, dance, food, and art, the festival creates opportunities for neighbors to share their rich heritage, learn from one another, build meaningful connections, and re-discover the common values that unite us.

In honor of the America250 commemoration, the name “We the People” represents the promise of an ever-expanding American story. Over time, the meaning of that “we” has grown to include more voices, more experiences, and more perspectives. This festival celebrates the cultures and communities that make Davis County what it is today while recognizing that our differences are not barriers to belonging, but essential parts of a vibrant and thriving community.

By honoring both our shared humanity and our unique cultural identities, the We the People Festival seeks to foster understanding, strengthen civic belonging, and celebrate the rich tapestry of people who choose to make Davis County their home.
